Tamkeen announces launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week activities

The Labour Fund “Tamkeen” announced the launch of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025 – one of the initiatives under the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) – coinciding with the annual global celebration of this initiative. The week features a diverse lineup of events and activities designed to showcase the latest developments in the field of entrepreneurship worldwide and to host a distinguished group of experts, specialists and inspiring entrepreneurs.

In collaboration with several local entities, a series of diverse events will be held from 16 to 20 November, featuring specialized workshops, interactive panel discussions, and talks led by experts and professionals from diverse industries. The program will focus on key themes such as technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, and business development while also encouraging enterprises to take their first steps towards regional market expansion. The week’s agenda will also include the 10th Edition of the Middle East and North Africa Angel Investment Summit 2025, scheduled for 19 November, which is expected to attract 300 investors, 50 startups, and more than 600 visitors from around the world.

This initiative aligns with Tamkeen’s ongoing commitment to supporting innovation and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bahrain through specialized initiatives and support programs that help entrepreneurs develop and expand their ventures, acquire essential knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, and secure the necessary funding to achieve success in their business journeys.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is an annual initiative celebrated in more than 170 countries worldwide. It aims to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and key stakeholders to exchange entrepreneurial insights and contribute to identifying solutions that enrich the culture of entrepreneurship, ensure business success and sustainability, and drive economic growth.
