Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC) successfully hosted its Life Insurance Seminar – Hayat, bringing together customers, industry experts, and partners to explore innovations, risk management, and awareness in life insurance.

The event featured two insightful discussion panels. The first panel titled “A Deep Dive into Life Insurance Mechanics – Science & Sustainability”, moderated by Salman Almadhi, included speakers Aninda Banerji (CFO, NBTC Group), Mohamed Bukamal (Bahrain Credit), Kentish Raghoonundun (Hannover Re), and Toufic Srour (Mena Re Life), focusing on technical aspects, sustainable practices, and the role of reinsurance in strengthening financial security. The second panel under the title of “Redefining Risk and Benefits in Life Insurance – Building Awareness”, moderated by Hania Abduljalil, featured Fuad Prins (Naseem International School), Salman Almadhi (BKIC), and Sara Almohri (ila Bank), exploring risk perception, product awareness, and how life insurance supports long-term financial goals. The seminar also highlighted key products, including Amal – Critical Illness Assurance, offering lump-sum payouts for major illnesses to ensure financial stability, and Taleem – Education Protection Coverage, providing school fee coverage for children in case of death or permanent disability of the guardian.
