Zain Bahrain successfully concludes first phase of its Flagship Startup Accelerator program ‘Zain Great Idea’

Zain Bahrain, a leading telecommunications provider in the Kingdom, has successfully concluded the first phase of its flagship startup accelerator program, Zain Great Idea (ZGI), which launched in Bahrain for the first time this year. The program attracted a significant number early-stage tech entrepreneurs from Bahrain.

The program began with an intensive two-week Boot Camp, held from September 24 to October 9, 2025, at Zain Bahrain Tower. The Boot Camp was designed to equip early-stage tech entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools, and mentorship required to refine their business models and sharpen their entrepreneurial skills.

Participants had the opportunity to attend multiple workshops, tech talks, and have oneon-one mentorship sessions during the two-weeks. They have gained invaluable insights into business strategy, innovation, and effective leadership. They are now well-equipped to refine their business models, build investor-ready pitches, and confidently showcase their solutions.

Having completed this transformative foundation, the entrepreneurs are ready to move forward to the second phase of the program– Super Tuesday – scheduled for October 14, 2025. During this pivotal stage, startups will present their ideas to a panel of judges, with one standout finalist advancing to the final stage of ZGI.

The selected finalist will embark on a two-week transformative journey to Silicon Valley, California, where they will gain world-class insights, mentorship, and exposure to leading global entrepreneurship ecosystems. This experience will not only enrich their knowledge but also inspire them to aim for global success.
