NBB Concludes EVOLVE 2025 Summer Internship Programme
The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has successfully concluded the fourth edition of its flagship summer internship programme, EVOLVE 2025. Building on the success of last year’s programme, the 2025 edition was delivered in two phases, tailored for school and university students, providing them with opportunities to develop both technical and soft skills essential for success in the financial services sector.
Participants attended classroom sessions led by NBB employees and industry experts, followed by immersive on-the-job placements across the Bank’s various departments. The sector-focused learning journey was further enhanced with team-building workshops, sign language sessions, cultural awareness activities, and first-aid training, aiming to nurture well-rounded and socially conscious future professionals.
Commenting on the occasion, Maram Buallay, Acting Group Chief Human Resources Officer at NBB, said:"More than just an internship programme, EVOLVE has become a national platform for youth development. We believe that investing in the next generation is essential to the Kingdom’s long-term growth. Through our partnerships and internal expertise, we provide an environment where students gain both theoretical knowledge and professional experience. This edition of EVOLVE reinforces our commitment to preparing our national talent to contribute meaningfully to Bahrain’s ongoing transformation. We congratulate this year’s graduates and wish them every success in achieving their ambitions."
EVOLVE 2025 was delivered in collaboration with a wide network of leading academic institutions, charitable organisations, and training providers across the Kingdom. These partnerships played a crucial role in creating a holistic learning experience aligned with the needs of Bahrain’s labour market.
