64-yr-old acquitted in minor abuse case
Manama : The High Criminal Court has acquitted a 64-year-old cold store owner accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl due to lack of proof.
The girl was reportedly accustomed to going to the cold store with her disabled brother, but one day she went to her father asking him to go and beat the cold store owner because he molested her.
The defendant, however, denied committing any foul play, stating that his wife and children were always present in the cold store.
The accused was charged with sexually assaulting the under-aged girl.
