‘Wok Station’ ready to serve food lovers

ManamaMarking its debut in Bahrain, home-grown Asian restaurant Wok Station will open its doors to all food lovers in the Kingdom today.

With a trendy, casual, street-style ambience, Wok Station uses high-quality, healthy, farm fresh ingredients to offer an internationally influenced menu inspired by cuisines from China, Japan, Korea, Burma and Thailand.

The food and the interiors are inspired by Southeast Asian street-style food creating a casually sophisticated dining experience in a modern, chic yet comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

“Wok Station is here to satisfy Bahrain’s craving for bold flavours, new experiences and convenience,” says Chef Chen, who designed the menu.

“We use fresh produce, delectable aromatics and exotic spices to create everything from flavourful wok dishes to delicate dim sums,” he adds.

The mission of community welfare is at the heart of the restaurant, which encourages and supports local farmers and enterprises.

The cuisine represents a combination of delicacies from China, Japan, Korea, Burma and Thailand, caters to all age groups with a special selection for children.

Wok Station also lets guests create their own wok with a unique and interactive Create Your Wok Menu. With the help of this menu, guests can select their preferences from the many available choices and flavourful sauces to create their customised wok, just the way they like it. This lets the guests enjoy a made-to-order meal while watching the chefs prepare it live.

A full A La Carte Menu is available featuring scrumptious concoctions ranging from soups, salads, appetizers, dim sums, wok signatures, desserts, beverages and a premium selection of teas. For those who fancy a chef-recommended meal, Wok Station offers an exclusive Chef’s Special Menu, featuring the chef’s personal favourites ranging from soup, appetisers, dim sums, seafood specials, main courses with rice and noodle options.

The look and feel of Wok Station including the open concept kitchen recreates the experience of dining in a bustling Southeast Asian marketplace within modern comforts.

Enhancing the street-food vibe are panels of colourful neon mood lights above the kitchen area, abstract graffiti on the walls and tasteful décor, which continues on the upper level with a large and vibrant seating area.

The restaurant open from 12 noon to 11 pm in Galleria Mall can seat up to 115 guests is well suited to host small gatherings, celebrations or corporate events.

The arrival of the highly anticipated restaurant as Galleria’s newest trendy dining venue also marks the kick off the Chinese Year of the Rooster.
