Jakarta set to host 12th edition of Brave

Manama : Jakarta is set to host the twelfth edition of Brave Combat Federation in Indonesia on 11th May 2018. Jakarta will be the ninth city in the world that became a venue for the Bahrain based Mixed Martial Arts promotion. The officials confirmed that the stadium for the event will be announced alongside fight card announcement. Apart from hosting the event, the fight week will witness public weigh-ins, open workouts and media activities for the fans.

Hosting the twelfth edition of the event in Jakarta is strategic due to the global positioning of the city, which is the centre of economics, culture and politics in Indonesia. Indonesia is the largest economy of ASEAN and Jakarta had generated about one-sixth of Indonesian GDP in 2008. Jakarta also serves as the seat of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretariat; numbers of foreign countries have appointed their embassies also serving as the representative and mission for ASEAN, thus making Jakarta as the diplomatic capital of ASEAN. During 2017 the delegates of Indonesian government had announced projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain aimed at improving the relationship between the two nations in avenues of commerce, technology and cultural relations.

Apart from featuring world-class athletes in an epic fight night, this will play a key role in strengthening the economic relations, business, technology and cultural relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Indonesia”, said Mohammed Shahid, President of Brave Combat Federation.
