Kyu Kwak claims victory
Sun Kyu Kwak (42 points) was the overall winner as Awali Golf Club (AGC) saw the biggest field of the 2015/16 season with more than 90 including a number of guests from Al Ghazal Club, Abu Dhabi competing for the Schlumberger Trophy and an inter-club machplay for the annual Hindmarsh Trophy the following day.
Two points behind on 40 behind the winner of the Stableford competition were nine players with the count back system required to determine the finalorder.
Schlumberger has been in Bahrain since 1931 and first sponsored a competition at AGC in December 1956 and continued quite regularly until the mid 90s then returned after a long absence last year.
Ayman Dessouky on behalf of the sponsor and Bill Scarth, AGC club captain presented prizes to the winners.
