Need to solving regional issues stressed

HH the Amir of Kuwait, Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jabir Al Sabah, today at the Dasman Palace, received HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

HH the Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jabir Al Sabah and HH the Prime Minister Shaikh Jabir Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah were present. 

HRH the Premier pointed out the Kuwaiti Amir’s contributions to promoting the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and his humanitarian initiatives at the regional and international levels. 

Their highnesses exchanged Ramadan greeting, wishing their countries and people to enjoy many happy returns of the blessed occasion. 

HRH the Premier conveyed Ramadan greeting of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Amir of Kuwait. He stressed keenness to constantly boost the bilateral relations in the interest of the two countries and their people. 

Bilateral and GCC relations and joint coordination and cooperation were discussed, as well as the latest regional developments. 

Their highnesses noted the depth of the longstanding bilateral relations and means of enhancing them in various fields. They also underlined keenness to push on with coordination and consultations on various issues to benefit join and Gulf interests. They attached great significance to consultative and coordination meetings at all levels to cementing bilateral relations and cooperation.

HRH the Premier emphasized the need to increase the level of coordination, cooperation, and unified stances to face the accelerated challenges taking place in the region, which target its security and stability. 

Their highnesses highlighted the need to reach solutions to various issues witnessed by the region to maintain its security and stability.  

HRH the Premier expressed appreciation of the Kuwaiti supportive stances to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also appreciated the generous hospitality and reception that reflect the advanced level of relations between the two countries. 

HH the Amir of Kuwait hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of HRH the Premier, attended by Kuwaiti Prime Minister, a number of their Highnesses and senior officials.
