BAPCO, A KEY SPONSOR OF NASSER 8

Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday praised Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) for sponsoring the first Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Sports Games and the eighth edition of Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Football Championship (Nasser8).

Shaikh Nasser declared Bapco as one of the key strategic and founding partners of the championship, which became a major sports event in the region over the past seven years.

Bapco administration members were hailed by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their supporting vision to youth and sports movement in Bahrain and their contributions in the thrive of local football sport.

This was mentioned during a meeting held between Shaikh Nasser Media and Information Centre Head and Nasser8 Supreme Organising Committee Chairman Tawfeeq Al Salehy and Bapco Board of Directors Chairman Adel Al Moayyed yesterday, in the presence of Bapco Social Responsibility Specialist Mohammed Al Khalaf.

In the meeting, Al Moayyed presented Bapco’s contribution to Al Salehy, who admired the generous initiative.

Al Moayyed affirmed that the company considers sports cooperation activities as a priority, underlining the importance of sponsoring Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Championship, as it represents the development attained by Bahraini sports.

Al Moayyed said it is an honour to be part of improving national sports events.
