Bahrain’s Ruba Al Omari claimed a silver medal in the women’s F55 shot put on the third and final day of the Olomouc Para Athletics Grand Prix 2026, rounding off a standout performance at the international competition.
Ruba Al Omari finished second with a best throw of 7.30 metres, adding a second silver to her tally after an earlier podium finish in the discus. She also collected a bronze in the javelin, bringing her total medal count at the tournament to three.
The result caps a consistent and commanding showing across all three days of competition, with Ruba Al Omari confirming her place among the leading para athletes in her classification and underlining Bahrain’s growing presence on the international para athletics circuit.
