Lusail International Circuit (LIC) is set to become the centre of global motorsport in 2026, hosting three of the world’s biggest racing championships within a five-week period.
The Qatar venue will welcome the Qatar 1812 KM – FIA World Endurance Championship 2026, the MotoGP™ Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar 2026, and the Formula 1® Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2026, bringing endurance racing, motorcycle competition and Formula 1® action together on one stage.
The milestone marks more than two decades of development for Lusail Circuit, which opened in 2004 as MotoGP’s Middle Eastern home, introduced the sport's first night race in 2008, hosted its first Formula 1 race in 2021, and later expanded into endurance racing through the FIA World Endurance Championship.
The circuit will host the Qatar 1812 KM from October 22-24, followed by the MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix from November 6-8, before concluding with the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix from November 27-29.
Organisers said the events will transform Lusail into a global motorsport festival, offering fans world-class racing alongside entertainment zones, hospitality experiences and family activities.
The FIA World Endurance Championship event will feature leading manufacturers and endurance specialists competing in a 10-hour race, while MotoGP will continue its tradition as the only night race on the championship calendar.
The Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix will mark a major highlight as the championship enters a new regulatory era, with fans offered access to grandstands, hospitality packages, fan zones and post-race entertainment.
Lusail International Circuit is also recognised for its sustainability efforts, holding the FIA three-star environmental certification, the highest level awarded by motorsport’s governing body.
With fans expected from Qatar, the region and around the world, the five-week racing schedule aims to establish Qatar as a leading destination for international motorsport.
