BIC to usher in the new year with double the fun this week in Batelco Fitness on Track
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, keeps the fun in Sakhir going this week as the Kingdom gets set to usher in 2026.
Taking place on either side of New Year’s Day, Batelco Fitness on Track will be giving members of the public the opportunity to work off some of that holiday weight while enjoying a fun physical activity within a safe and unique environment.
Batelco Fitness on Track will be taking place both on Tuesday (Editor’s note: 30 December) from 6pm to 10pm and then again on Friday (Editor’s note: 2 January, 2026) from 6am to 10am, offering twice the chance to continue the festive joy with family and friends.
Interested participants can also choose between joining either the evening event under lights or the early morning workout in the warmth of the sun, or even take part in both!
The activity can be done on foot or on a bicycle, giving participants the chance to select their preferred exercise programme.
Runners and walkers will be utilising BIC’s 2.550-kilometre Inner Circuit, while cyclists will get to ride their bikes along the 3.543-kilometre Outer Circuit, with another dedicated area for children’s cycling.
The cost to take part is BD2 for cyclists and BD1 for runners. Payment must be made upon booking. Children under the age of 12 can participate for free if accompanied by a paying adult.
BIC’s Batelco Fitness on Track Season Pass is still also available – ideal for regular participants as it grants access to all Batelco Fitness on Track events throughout the season. At the affordable price of just BD15, the pass is a great way to save money over the course of the year, with Batelco Fitness on Track being held multiple times each month, all the way through to April of next year.
Season Passes can be purchased by contacting the BIC Hotline. For more information on this week’s Batelco Fitness on Track activities or other events and experiences at BIC, visit bahraingp.com, call the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000, or follow the circuit’s official social media channels.
