Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, hosts back-to-back days of exciting experiences with Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night on Thursday and Open Track Day on Friday.

The two widely popular fan activities continue BIC’s stacked calendar of events in its 2025/2026 season, offering members of the public the most unique thrills both on the drag strip and around BIC’s world-famous grand prix facility.

For more information or to book a slot in either experience, visit bahraingp.com or call the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000. Thursday’s Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night is scheduled for 7pm to 12midnight.

Motor racing enthusiasts will get to enjoy head-to-head battles along BIC’s world-class quarter-mile drag strip in their very own cars or motorbikes.

Participants can invite their family or friends for an exciting one-on-one challenge, but instead of the traditional standing start, they will begin their run at a rolling speed of 80kph.

Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night puts fans into an engaging, yet friendly, duel. Both participants will be able to push their vehicles to their limit within the secure and controlled environment at BIC.

The cost to be a part of the Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night is BD22 for each driver or rider. Spectators can watch from the stands for a fee of BD2.

Just as in all activities at the circuit, safety is paramount for all taking part. Cars and motorbikes must therefore go through scrutineering before being able to hit the BIC strip, which is a part of the NHRA Worldwide Network of the U.S.-based National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).

Meanwhile, speed lovers will be able to enjoy a thrill like no other in Friday’s Open Track Day.

Taking place from 9am to 5pm, participants can power their very own private vehicles along BIC’s 5.412-kilometre Grand Prix Track – the same raced on by motor racing’s top stars in Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship.

Those interested in being a part of the experience can book their slot in advance at a reduced rate. The discounted cost for the full day is BD82.5, while the half day is BD55, and a single session is BD22. If booking on the day itself, the cost is BD93.5 for the full day, BD66 for half the day, and BD27.5 for a single session.

Instructor sessions are also available, while additional drivers and passengers can participate, all for an additional fee.

In every Open Track activity, driver etiquette is of ultimate importance, and there is no close or aggressive overtaking permitted. Overtaking is by invitation between corners and driving is monitored, with poor or dangerous driving being dealt with swiftly.
