HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Attends Camel Racing and Other Events at Asian Youth Games

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, attended various competitions of the 3rd Asian Youth Games, including camel racing at the Bahrain International Endurance Village, as well as e-sports, weightlifting, boxing, and table tennis events at Exhibition World Bahrain. His Highness also toured the athletes’ village, which features cultural, heritage, and entertainment activities for participants.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad praised the dedication, professionalism, and organisational excellence demonstrated by Bahraini youth volunteers and national cadres, describing their efforts as a source of pride and a reflection of Bahrain’s readiness to host major continental and international sporting events. His Highness further commended the strong public turnout and high standards of competition, noting that the successful hosting of the games showcases Bahrain’s modern sporting capabilities and supports its vision to promote youth, sports, and community engagement across all levels.
