La Liga leaders Real Madrid dropped points in a 1-1 draw at Osasuna, with Jude Bellingham sent off in the first half.

Kylian Mbappé gave Madrid the lead before the England international saw red for dissent in the 39th minute. Ante Budimir equalised from the penalty spot after Eduardo Camavinga fouled him in the 58th minute. It was Madrid’s third straight league match without a win.

Carlo Ancelotti rotated his squad ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Manchester City, resting Rodrygo and starting Brahim Díaz. Madrid dominated early, with Vinícius Jr. missing two big chances before Mbappé clinically finished Fede Valverde’s cross for his seventh goal in five La Liga games.

Osasuna threatened only once in the first half through Aimar Oroz, but Thibaut Courtois saved well. Budimir’s penalty was his 13th goal of the season, trailing only Robert Lewandowski and Mbappé. Madrid pushed for a winner despite their numerical disadvantage, but Sergio Herrera denied Mbappé in stoppage time. Madrid now face added pressure with Atlético Madrid and Barcelona closing in, while Manchester City await midweek.
