Bahrain Golf Association appoints new board

Bahrain’s golf scene is set for a new era with the appointment of the Bahrain Golf Association’s board for the 2024- 2028 term by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The newly formed board, comprising experienced sports administrators, is expected to drive the development of golf in the Kingdom, focusing on talent development and raising Bahrain’s profile in the international golfing community.
Among the appointees are Waleed Abdulhamid Abdulkarim Al Alawi, Duaij Khalifa Saeed Mohammed Al Eid, Abdulla Saeed Muhanna Muhanna Al Kaabi, Adel Ali Ali Ahmed Al Fayadh Bani Khalid, Abdulla Mohammed Abdulla Al Habbal, Rashid Musbah Khalid Musbah Al Kaabi, Yusuf Yaqoub Yusuf Majid Rahma, Saleh Jumaa Abdulla Mubarak, Mohammed Theyab Saqr Abdulla Saqr Al Nuaimi, Issa Ibrahim Saad Mohammed Al Saeedi, and Isa Khalid Abdulrasool Al Sharif.
The association aims to expand grassroots programs, enhance local competition standards, and strengthen Bahrain’s presence in regional and global golf circuits. With the new leadership in place, Bahrain is set to take significant strides in elevating its golfing reputation.
