Robert Karas Embarks on 150-Day Ironman Challenge in Bahrain

With the support of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Polish athlete Robert Karas has launched into an extraordinary endurance challenge: completing an Ironman triathlon every day for 150 consecutive days in Bahrain. This bold attempt will cover a grueling daily distance of 140.6 miles and, if successful, will set a new men’s world record, cementing Bahrain as a hub for extreme sports achievements.

A Marathon of Ironman Triathlons

Each daily Ironman event will see Karas swimming 3.8 kilometers, cycling 180 kilometers, and running 42.2 kilometers—a feat that tests both mental fortitude and physical endurance. His commitment to this challenge aligns with Bahrain’s growing reputation as a center for elite athletic performance.
