Hilton Bahrain Celebrates Mooncake Festival – Mid-Autumn Festival

Hilton Bahrain proudly joined in the celebration of the Mooncake Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival—one of the most cherished traditions in Chinese culture, with a history spanning more than 3,000 years. Often compared in importance to the Chinese New Year, the festival is also observed in various forms across East and Southeast Asia, symbolizing unity, gratitude, and togetherness.

With the recent return of Pan Asian Night, the celebration drew a diverse crowd, including distinguished guests from the Chinese Embassy. Guests were treated to a vibrant evening of cultural experiences, highlighted by a captivating live performances from the Confucius Institute, as well as a children’s choir and dance performance featuring oriental classic songs.

The buffet added to the festive atmosphere with interactive live stations, each offering its own unique flavors—from Peking Duck Pancakes and Vietnamese Banh Mi to sizzling teppanyaki and stir-fry creations, along with the Filipino favorite, the refreshing Halo-Halo.
