Kinara by Vikas Khanna at JA Lake View Hotel has unveiled its new quarterly dining series, Forgotten Flavours, celebrating the rich culinary heritage of India. The inaugural edition, Utsav – Festivals of India, will debut on Friday, October 3, offering guests a multi-course journey through India’s most iconic festive dishes.

The series reimagines traditional Indian flavours with a modern twist, complemented by fine selections from Sula Wines. Guests will also have an exclusive opportunity to meet Michelin-acclaimed Chef Vikas Khanna in person, making the evening a unique celebration of India’s culinary traditions.

Renowned as one of Dubai’s premier Indian fine-dining destinations, Kinara by Vikas Khanna is known for its immersive ambience, aromatic spice displays, and exquisite interiors. Under Chef Khanna’s guidance, the restaurant fuses authentic recipes with innovative presentation, delivering a culinary experience that is both traditional and contemporary.

Forgotten Flavours aims to revive and explore India’s diverse culinary heritage through a thematic quarterly series. Upcoming editions will include The Royal Kitchens of India, Peninsular Cuisine of India, Nomadic Food Traditions of India, and Forgotten Grains of India. Each edition will feature curated menus, collaborative pairings, and immersive storytelling to engage and delight guests.

The launch event coincides with Kinara’s 6th anniversary and promises a multi-course dinner inspired by India’s most celebrated festivals. Sula Wines will enhance the experience with expertly paired selections, presented by their sommelier. Guests will also receive a bespoke keepsake gift and a specially designed menu detailing the stories, recipes, and traditions behind each dish.

The partnership with Sula Wines, India’s leading and most awarded grape brand, highlights a shared commitment to excellence and sustainability. Founded by Rajeev Samant in the late 1990s, Sula Wines introduced varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Riesling, and Zinfandel to India and continues to champion sustainable practices in its vineyards.

Forgotten Flavours promises to be a celebration of India’s gastronomic legacy, offering guests an unforgettable evening of taste, tradition, and storytelling at the heart of Dubai.
