Bahrain’s Al Seef 3x3 basketball team have completed their preparations for the FIBA 3x3 Go Too! Group Aichi Challenger 2026, which takes place in Nagoya, Japan, on Saturday and Sunday.

Seef earned their place at the event after winning the Bahrain Summer Open 3x3 Basketball Championship, defeating ATBB 21-11 in the final of the concluding round at Exhibition World Bahrain.

Seeded 12th in a 16-team field, the Bahraini representatives will begin their campaign in Qualifying Draw B on Saturday alongside hosts Nagoya and Melbourne.

Seef face Nagoya at 4.40am Bahrain time before meeting Melbourne at 6:20 am; only the group winner progresses to the main draw.

Finishing top of the qualifying group would send Seef into Pool D alongside Shanghai of China and Toronto of Canada. They would face Shanghai at 7.45am before taking on Toronto at 11.35am later that day.

Kelechi Austin Ajukwa, Mohamed Khaled Alanzi, Bogdan Dragovic and Uros Ilic make up Seef’s four-man roster.

Teams finishing in the top two of each main-draw pool will advance to Sunday’s quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals and the 11.05am final.
