The Ministry of Youth Affairs is committed to supporting purposeful youth initiatives and strengthening the role of youth organisations and associations in promoting national identity and expanding avenues for active participation in cultural and social affairs.

This was emphasised by Her Excellency Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs as she noted that this reflects the national approach to empowering young people and reinforcing their role as partners in sustainable development.

The Minister highlighted Ministerial Decision (33) of 2025 concerning the registration of the Articles of Association of the Beyt Al Oud Society on the register of youth associations under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth Affairs.

She emphasised that the decision comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to continue supporting initiatives aimed at safeguarding cultural heritage and instilling values of belonging and citizenship among young people.

Tawfiqi added that the Beyt Al Oud Society will represent a significant addition to youth activity in the Kingdom through its programmes and initiatives that promote Bahraini identity and contribute to building an aware and creative generation.

The Minister highlighted that the establishment of the Beyt Al Oud Society aligns with the ministry’s strategy to support cultural and social activities and create national platforms for young people’s talents and energy.

She noted that the society will promote national values, increase youth participation in cultural and community events, and support the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen social cohesion and unity.
