HM King Hamad Praises Success of “Hawa Al Manama” Festival

His Majesty King King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the strong success of the second edition of the “Hawa Al Manama” event, which was held as part of Bahrain’s festive season.

The King highlighted the event’s rich cultural, tourism, and historical exhibitions, museums, and varied activities that showcased an important period in the history of the capital, Manama. He said the event reflected the city’s identity and cultural and social diversity, and noted the wide turnout from citizens and residents, as well as the large number of visitors and tourists from sisterly and friendly countries. The event received positive feedback from all attendees.

His Majesty expressed his thanks to the Ministry of Tourism, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, and all relevant bodies for their dedicated efforts and the high-quality organisation of the event. He said the programme successfully combined heritage, authenticity, arts, music, and entertainment, contributing to the growth of the tourism sector and the preservation of Bahrain’s rich national heritage. This, he added, strengthens Bahrain’s position as a leading cultural and tourism destination.

The King said he looks forward to more national events being held across all governorates, cities, and villages in the Kingdom, to revive Bahraini traditions and values, highlight popular heritage, promote national identity, and introduce Bahrain’s cultural and historical treasures.

He also stressed the importance of documenting Bahrain’s cultural and civilisational heritage, introducing it to citizens, residents, and visitors, and preserving it so that future generations remain connected to their history and civilisation.

His Majesty reaffirmed his support for all efforts that highlight key chapters of Bahrain’s history, reflecting the loyalty, generosity, and deep-rooted traditions of the Bahraini people. He prayed that God grants continued goodness and happiness on these national occasions, and sustains the Kingdom and its people with prosperity, progress, and development.
