Dublin: US President Donald Trump will visit his golf property in Doonbeg, Ireland, where he is expected to be welcomed by both supporters celebrating his return and protesters opposing his policies. Trump's visit has become a regular flashpoint in the small west coast city, with local businesses and supporters seeing it as a boon while protesters organise protests.

The visit comes as Trump continues his overseas commitments, with his Irish property functioning as both a private hideaway and a visible representation of his economic interests in the country. Security measures are expected to be tightened around the resort and surrounding regions as authorities prepare for demonstrations.

Local reactions remain split. Supporters claim Trump's link to Doonbeg has earned him international recognition and economic benefits, while opponents have condemned his political agenda and immigration policies, among other things. The divergent reactions are expected to bring the tranquil beach community back into the worldwide spotlight.
