The Royal Humanitarian Foundation yesterday honoured 850 students during a ceremony organised virtually via Zoom. RHF also granted 21 top-achieving students with Leadership and Distinction Awards during the 17th ceremony to honour outstanding students held by RHF.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF)’s Honorary President, for providing quality education to Bahrainis.

HM the King, Shaikh Nasser said, is keen to ensure the success of Bahraini orphans by providing them with distinguished care to help them pursue their careers.

“The unwavering support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the RHF, has enabled it to undertake its humanitarian duties to the fullest,” said HH Shaikh Nasser.

He congratulated the outstanding students and their parents on their success amid the exceptional circumstances caused by the novel coronavirus. HH Shaikh Nasser also lauded the cooperation of the Education Ministry, the University of Bahrain and all public and private educational institutions with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation.

RHF Secretary-General, Dr Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Ameen, congratulated top achievers and honoured the Leadership and Distinction Award winners.
