The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), in coordination with government agencies, continues to intensify joint efforts to activate regulatory tools to address illegal practices in the labour market, to ensure its fairness and stability, and enhance its productivity.

The Authority announced the implementation of three inspection campaigns, which resulted in monitoring a number of violations related to the provisions of a number of regulating laws, especially the LMRA Law and the Residency Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that legal measures were taken regarding the observed violations.

LMRA pointed to the implementation of two inspection campaigns in the Capital Governorate, in which the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Evidence, the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), and the General Directorate of Civil Defense, participated in the two campaigns, as well as the Ministry of Health (MoH), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC), the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), as well as the Capital Municipality.

As for the Implementation of the third campaign in the Southern Governorate; it was carried out in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and the Governorate Police Directorate.

LMRA renewed its call to all members of the society to report violations via the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.gov.bh or by calling the authority’s call centre on 17506055.
