Dubai has been named the world's most beautiful city at night for 2026 in a global study that evaluated destinations based on factors including night-time safety, scenic views, evening attractions and observation points.
The 2026 study by JB.com ranked Dubai ahead of cities such as Tokyo and Rome after assessing criteria including safety after dark, scenic viewpoints, social media popularity, light pollution, sky brightness and the variety of evening experiences available to residents and visitors.
According to the study, Dubai's illuminated skyline played a key role in securing the top position, with landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Fountain, Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah contributing to its after-dark appeal.
The report also highlighted the city's diverse night-time attractions, including rooftop venues, waterfront dining, desert experiences and late-night shopping, reinforcing Dubai's reputation as one of the world's leading destinations for evening tourism.
