Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) on December 21, 2017. Upon arrival, the Deputy King was received by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Minister of Defence Affairs Lt-General Yousif bin Ahmed Al Jalahma as well as a number of senior officers. The Deputy King praised the professionalism of the BDF, noting that, through the support of His Majesty King Hamad, the BDF plays a valued and vital role defending the country’s sovereignty and supporting justice.
