Bahrain to get traffic smartphone app

A smartphone traffic mapping application topped the agenda of a key coordination meeting.

General Directorate of Traffic Director-General Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa chaired the session, in the presence of officials representing the Works Ministry and the Informatics and e-Government Authority.

The company which was commissioned to carry out the project delivered a presentation on the smartphone application which would update the public on work sites and traffic diversions.
