Mass wedding held by Riffa Charity Society

Manama : Honorary President of Riffa Charity Society Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani patronised the biggest mass wedding for 860 brides and bridegrooms at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa yesterday.

The celebration was sponsored by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work. Al Dhahrani expressed happiness about organising the 30th mass wedding, pointing out that more than 4,000 young men and women have been encouraged to tie the nuptial knot so far and assume the responsibility of making a family.

He lauded the sponsorship of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work to the 30th mass wedding, stressing strong fraternal ties binding Bahrain and the UAE.

On his part, the foundation’s Director General Mohammed Haji Al Khouri extended thanks and gratitude to the UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for supporting mass wedding. 

He pointed out that the celebration is the 5th mass wedding sponsored by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation in Bahrain, thanking Riffa Charity Society staff for their cooperation to ensure success of the event.
