New Intensive Care Unit at SMC inaugurated

His Excellency Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health, inaugurated a new intensive care unit (ICU) at Salmaniya Medical Complex, marking a significant expansion of the Kingdom’s largest public hospital.
The new unit, which builds on the existing main ICU, is designed to increase capacity in terms of rooms and beds while ensuring patients receive care that meets the highest international standards.
Expansion
Officials said the expansion is part of a broader national plan to enhance critical care services and upgrade the hospital’s infrastructure to meet growing patient needs.
