A woman was stabbed 33 times by her neighbour who had become furious at the noise her son was making while, a court heard.

Alison Morrison, 45, was on her way to office on December 18 last year when her neighbor Trevor Gibbon, 48, allegedly armed with two knives stabbed her to death.

He carried out the killing the day after he was

Gibbon was handed a restraining order pleading guilty of harassing Mrs Morrison and her family, the day the killing took place, the Old Bailey trial heard.

The dispute started in 2011 when Mrs Morrison, her husband Cedric and their teenage son moved to Windsor Crescent, Harrow, north-west London, next door to Gibbon and his partner.

Almost immediately, Gibbon complained about the noise from the boy's skateboard but, despite the Morrisons' attempts to placate him, nothing seemed to satisfy him, the jury was told.

Gibbon and his partner, Maria Perrett, rejected repeated attempts by the council and police to broker better relations and in April last year, he was issued with a prevention of harassment letter, which he refused to sign.
