Muscat: Oman’s Port of Salalah was targeted by two drones, leaving an expatriate worker moderately injured and causing limited damage to port infrastructure, according to a security source.

The incident resulted in injuries to one worker at the port, while one of the cranes sustained minor damage, Oman News Agency reported.

Authorities said the situation is under control, with assessments ongoing to determine the full extent of the damage.

The Oman government strongly condemned the attack, describing it as a blatant act of aggression. Officials reaffirmed the Sultanate’s commitment to taking all necessary measures to safeguard national security and ensure the safety of residents and workers across the country.
