Tamkeen to support restaurants, cafes

Bahrain’s Labour Fund Tamkeen will support restaurants and cafes affected by the pandemic for a month, starting February.

The decision is as directed by the Coordinating Committee headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Tamkeen as part of “Business Continuity Support” programme will support affected enterprises for one month to cover their operating expenses.

The support will be for restaurants and cafes registered in the first phase of the programme.

Tamkeen CEO Dr Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi would communicate with restaurants and cafes to confirm the request and decide on disbursing dues as soon as possible.
