30 killed as Russian strike hits passenger buses in Kramatorsk

Kramatorsk: Thirty people were killed and 18 wounded on Thursday when Russia struck two passenger buses in Kramatorsk, near the frontline in eastern Ukraine, local authorities said.

The attack hit public transport in the city, prompting authorities to suspend bus services.

The Donetsk regional prosecutor's office said the death toll had risen to 30 following the morning strike. The regional governor's office confirmed the same figures.

Kramatorsk, a key city in Donetsk region, lies close to areas of heavy fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces.
