Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Humanitarian Committee announced donating 10,000 reusable masks to both the Sunni Endowments Department and the Jaafari Endowment Department.
"The masks were produced by the Foundation in cooperation with the productive families," said Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Dr Mustafa Al-Sayed.
The move, Dr Al Sayed said, is part of its humanitarian initiatives and Fina Khair campaign launched by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs.
The masks were made by productive families in record time to help support national efforts to reduce the coronavirus epidemic.
Sheikh Dr Rashid bin Muhammad Al-Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, and the Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments Council, Yusuf bin Saleh Al-Saleh, thanked the efforts of the Foundation.
Al-Saleh said the Endowments will distribute the masks to mosques, funerals, and civil society institutions working to help the needy in various governorates.
