An extraordinary UFO hearing in the Mexican Congress that showcased purported remains of non-human beings has incited swift international condemnation, with critics dismissing it as a “stunt.”

Peruvian officials have raised questions regarding the origins of the alleged specimens. Jaime Maussan, a prominent Mexican journalist and UFO enthusiast, presented two tiny “bodies” during the congressional hearing on Tuesday.

These specimens, encased in glass, displayed three fingers on each hand and elongated heads.

Maussan asserted that they were unearthed in Peru in 2017 and insisted that they bore no resem-blance to terrestrial life forms, doubling down on his history of controversial claims.

The images from the unprecedented congressional hearing in Mexico provoked global fascination and significant skepticism.

Former US Navy pilot Ryan Graves, who attended the hearing to discuss his own experiences with unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), strongly criticized the presentation.

He labelled it an “unsubstantiated stunt” on the X social media platform, adding that it was a “huge step backwards for this issue.”

Maussan asserted that the specimens, supposedly recovered near Peru’s ancient Nazca Lines, had undergone carbon dating by Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM) and were approxi-mately 1,000 years old.

He adamantly maintained that they belonged to no known Earthly species.

However, historical inci-dents of similar finds have, in the past, turned out to be the remains of mummified children.

Peruvian Culture Minister Leslie Urteaga refuted any official recognition of the remains as non-human, questioning how they had left Peru.

She mentioned an ongoing criminal complaint against individuals associated with Maussan and his team, emphasizing the potential involvement of pre-Hispanic bone remains.
