Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company organised a beach clean up in the area near the Bahrain Fort in collaboration with the Manama Municipality as part of its campaign to protect the environment. The clean up was held simultaneously in Riyadh, Jeddah, Jubail, Kuwait, Doha, Sohar, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
