A 23-year-old man has been charged with the murder of an Omani student, who was stabbed to death outside Harrods in UK late last year.

Mohamed Abdulllah Al Araimi, 20, was killed in a violent robbery near the Knightsbridge department store on December 5, UK-based Daily Mail reported.

Scotland Yard confirmed Badir Rahim Alnazi, 23, has been charged with murder, attempted robbery and possession of a bladed article, the report added.

He was arrested on Wednesday, January 8 after handing himself in at a central London police station.

Al Araimi had been found unconscious with a stab wound to his back at the foot of a Christmas tree in Hans Crescent, and died at the scene. His friend was being treated in hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
