Ramadan Charity Drive at Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School





























In a heartfelt initiative to support the fellow brethren during the holy month of Ramadan, Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School has generously donated a collection of non-perishable food items to the Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF). This
contribution aims to assist those in need and reflects the school’s commitment to social responsibility and community service. The donation was received by esteemed representatives from the ICRF, including Mr. V.K. Thomas, Dr. Babu
Ramachandran, Mr. Prakash Mohan, and Mr. Uday Shanbag, who expressed their gratitude for the support extended by the school. The items will be distributed to families facing hardships, ensuring that they have access to essential supplies. “Hope
the pious month of Ramadan brings peace and happiness in everyone’s life and we truly believe that the charity will be of great help to the needy” said Mr. Himanshu Verma, BIS Director. Mrs. Ritu Verma, Director remarked, “We believe in the
importance of giving back to the community and supporting those who are less fortunate. This donation is a testament to our values and the spirit of compassion we strive to instill in our students.” Principal Mr. Saji Jacob expressed his gratitude to
everyone for extending a helping hand for the noble cause. Bhavan’s Bahrain Indian School is dedicated to fostering a culture of empathy and service among its students. This donation is just one of the many ways the school strives to engage with
and uplift the community.

(MBMA) has launched the fifth edition of the Ambassadors’ Majlis, a
programme held during Ramadhan to reflect Bahrain’s tradition of
hosting majlises and fostering engagement during the holy month.
RHF organises community iftar The initiative provides diplomats with an opportunity to interact with
accredited ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain, gain insights from their
experiences, and learn firsthand about their diplomatic careers. Dr. Shaikha
Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director-General of MBMA, expressed
her appreciation for hosting ambassadors at the academy’s majlis. She
reaffirmed the academy’s commitment to promoting constructive diplomatic
dialogue and strengthening ties with representatives of allied and friendly
nations. This year’s edition featured three ambassadors accredited to the
Kingdom of Bahrain: H.E. Reham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil, Ambassador
of Egypt; H.E. Steven C. Bondy, Ambassador of the US; and H.E. Tatjana
Garcevic, Ambassador of Serbia. They shared their perspectives and
extensive diplomatic experiences with the attendees.
