Three illegal fundraising suspects trial adjourned
Manama : The High Criminal Court today resumed the case of three suspects including a religious figure implicated in the crimes of illegal fundraising, money laundering and financial transactions to conceal the source of their funds to add a purported legitimacy to them said, General Advocate Haroon Alzayani.
Today's session was held in public in compliance with the law.
The lawyer of the attending defendant also attended today as in the previous sessions and presented his defence petitions. The other two suspects failed to appear although they had been duly notified.
The court adjourned the case until October 24 to summon the first evidential witness.
