Top honour for Alba Chairman
Chairman of the board of Directors of Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (Alba) Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa was elected to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Middle East Business Leaders Awards (MEBSLA) 2015, the company said in a statement yesterday. Shaikh Daij received the prestigious award for his exemplary leadership and immense contribution towards business transformation creativity.
Secretary General, Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC), Abdul Rahim Hassan Naqi presented the award to Alba Chairman during a ceremony held on Monday at Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The MEBSLA Awards is organised by the American Leadership Development Association, co-organised by the Leaders International Magazine and endorsed by the Federation of GCC Chambers. This event recognises the achievements of the Mid-East and Asia’s prominent figures and major organisations across all industry sectors. In its sixth edition, the MEBLSA 2015 honoured close to 25 awardees, which included recipients from more than ten countries across Asia and GCC.
