BDF participation in Saudi coalition discussed
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, received the Minister of Defence Affairs Major General Yusuf bin Ahmed Al Jalahama and the Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Lt-Gen Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi at Al Sakhir Palace yesterday.
The meeting was held in the presence of HM the King’s Personal Representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HM the King discussed with them the tremendous and fruitful efforts exerted by the BDF brave servicemen as part of their continuous participation in the ‘Operation Decisive Storm’ and ‘Operation Restoring Hope’ within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition for the best interests of Yemeni people and the security of the region.
HM the King also discussed with them the future plans to develop BDF’s units and weaponry.
HM King Hamad lauded the good and successful efforts exerted by the BDF for sake of the nation’s security, stability and progress.
