Education Minister takes stock of school project
Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi conducted an inspection visit to the construction site of the new intermediate girls school in Busaiteen here yesterday.
The officials informed the Minister about the workflow in cooperation with the Ministry of Works.
Al Nuaimi said that the school was one of 10 under construction schools within the government action of enhancing the educational infrastructure and lauded the support the Ministry received from the leadership.
He said that the new schools were built in a modern way in terms of engineering, planning and materials used, as well as the facilities, which fulfil requirements of Schools Performance Improvement Programme and integration of students with special needs.
He added that the school would serve many blocks in Busaiteen and pointed out that 300 students would be transferred from Zanobia Intermediate Girls School to this school following the Ministry’s programme of schools maintenance, as the current Buasiteen Intermediate School will become boys intermediate school after maintenance.
