Favourite Empiricist wins
The favourite Empiricist owned by Ghalya Raed Ali Abdulla, trained by Talal Al Alawi and ridden by Abdulla Faisal won the feature race yesterday for the Ali Venture Cup for imported 3 year olds and upwards over 2,000 metres worth BD3,000 yesterday in the fourth race meeting of the season at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in Sakhir.
Coming in second place two lengths behind was William Blake owned by Al Nasseriyeh, trained by Allan Smith and ridden by Brett Doyle, followed in third place a further length and a half behind was third favourite Peak Royale owned by Al Mallah Syndicate, trained by Jalil Al Mallah and ridden by Andrew Elliott, with fourth place going to When Will It End owned by Al Afoo Stable, trained by Bader Al Abed and ridden by Duran Fentiman.
