Bahrain a trusted ally in  the Gulf, says Russian President
Russian President Vladimir Putin said described Bahrain as “a trusted ally in the Gulf.” He expressed his hopes to “enhance cooperation in the fields of energy, investment, culture and tourism.”
Putin made the statements while receiving the credentials of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Moscow Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati and fellow 14 new Ambassadors on Thursday, including the Ambassadors of Palestine, Sudan and Israel.
As reported yesterday, President Putin took pride in the depth of the existing relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain and recalled the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Russia last year, during which a number of cooperation agreements were signed between the two countries in all fields.
Ambassador Al Saati conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King and those of the Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to the Russian President.
