BOC to observe first National Sports Day
The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) is organising today the ‘National Sports Day’ for its employees to coincide with the Kingdom’s 44th National Day celebrations.
Today’s event takes place at the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation’s gym at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town from 10am until 2pm, and is part of the programmes set up by the BOC’s Communication committee, headed by Nawaf Abdulrahman.
Communication Committee member Fadi Humaidan said the BOC is having this first-of-its-kind gathering in Bahrain in an attempt to promote a healthy society and reflects its vision for a healthy and happy life for people.
It will involve recreational, promotional, communal, educational and competitive activities and will help in a positive interaction among representatives of the committee.
Activities include athletics, volleyball, basketball, football, handball, badminton, table tennis and physical fitness.
