Dragon city represents a success story
Dragon City represents a success story for the Bahraini economy and the efforts of Diyar Al Muharraq are a source of pride for the government, said Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani.
The minister said this during an inspection visit to the Dragon City along with an accompanying delegation from the ministry on Tuesday.
Undersecretary for Commerce Affairs Nader Khalil Almoayyed, Assistant Undersecretary for Domestic Trade Hameed Yousif Rahma and other officials from the ministry were part of the delegation. They were welcomed upon arrival at the City by Chairman Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, Managing Director Aaref Hejres and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Maher Al Shaer.
The delegation went on a detailed tour of Dragon Mall, along with visits to Asian Dining Village and Warehousing Area.
Speaking on the occasion, Al Zayani said, “Dragon City project today represents a huge success story; a valuable addition to the large scale economic projects embraced by the Kingdom due to the availability of government support and advanced infrastructure in addition to a strategic location that attracts both regional and international investments.”
Elaborating on the significance of the visit, Chairman of Diyar Al Muharraq, Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat said: “Being able to host Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani gives us immense pleasure and we appreciate his keenness in wanting to visit Dragon City.”
Dr. Al Shaer, said, “Dragon City is a monumental tribute to the tremendous progress of Bahrain in terms of its current Property Development capabilities and its vast Real Estate investment opportunities as well.”
Dragon City is due to open its door to the public before the end of 2015.
