Rainfall safety norms issued
As part of the ongoing operations to reinforce general safety among the public, the General Directorate at the Civil Defence and General Directorate of Traffic has issued safety instructions during rain and unstable weather.
The Civil Defence advises the public during heavy rain to move necessary tools to the first floor and disconnect electricity. It is also important not to use wet electrical appliances or touch hanging electricity wires.
While driving, the drivers should stay away from low and water gathering areas.
