Bahrain condemns terrorist blast at Egyptian police club

Bahrin's Foreign Affairs Ministry has strongly condemned the terrorist attack which targeted a Police Officers Club in North Sinai, Egypt, killing a number of people and injuring others.

A car bomb targeting the club in the Egyptian city of El Arish killed at least 4 people and wounded 10 on Wednesday, security sources said.

The blast targeted a police club in the city and Daesh terrorists claimed responsibility for the attack following the explosion.

In January, the terrorist group killed 44 people in a series of car bomb and mortar attacks in al-Arish, Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah, near the Israeli border, targeting army and military bases.

The ministry expressed its sincere condolences and consolation to the families and relatives of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to those who were injured in this abhorring criminal act which conflicts with all religious, moral and human values.

While the ministry affirms the support of Bahrain to the efforts being exerted by Egypt to underpin security and stability on all its territories and confront terrorism in the region, it also reiterates the Kingdom’s spportive stance towards all regional and global efforts aiming to deracinate violence and terrorism and dry up their funding sources.ion :
